Final) A traffic Jam

-------We visit our family graves every year at Chuseok which is Korean Thanksgiving on the 15th August by the lunar calendar. This year, our family made a plan to travel abroad. During the holidays, we intended to stay at the World Resort Hotel in Saipan, which has various kinds of swimming pools with tubes for children and many places to rest. We were in the car going to the airport and we got stuck in a traffic jam. We worried about being late for the flight. We prayed that the traffic would start moving but it didn’t and we missed out flight. If we could have gotten there, Chuseok would have been the best holiday of my life.

I've never been to Saipan but I've heard it's a nice place. I'd love to got here some day. Have you tried going again?

1. Be careful when you're using dates - the 15 of August/ August 15

2. "had a plan to travel abroad" or "planned to travel abroad"

3. We sometimes say "the traffic let up" which means that it started moving again.
